OVERVIEW RudeBot is a comedy Chrome extension that generates sarcastic AI commentary based on the website you are currently visiting. This privacy policy explains exactly what data RudeBot touches, why, and what happens to it.

The short version: the developer cannot see your data, does not want your data, and has no way to access your data. RudeBot exists solely to make fun of your browsing habits.

WHAT DATA DOES RUDEBOT COLLECT? When you visit a website, RudeBot reads three things from your active tab:

• The domain name (e.g. "reddit.com")
• The page title (e.g. "r/wallstreetbets")
• A short snippet of visible page text (up to 400 characters)

This is the only information RudeBot ever accesses. It does not read:

• Your passwords or login credentials
• Form inputs or anything you type
• Your personal files or downloads
• Your location
• Your browsing history beyond the current page
• Emails, messages, or private communications
• Payment or financial information
• Any data from pages you are not actively viewing

WHAT HAPPENS TO THIS DATA? The domain, title, and text snippet are sent transiently to an AI API (via a Cloudflare Worker) solely to generate a joke. This happens in memory for a few seconds. Once the joke is returned and displayed, the data is immediately discarded. It is never:

• Written to any database or server
• Logged or recorded anywhere
• Used to build a profile on you
• Associated with your identity in any way
